Final Prayer Requests before we head home:

 

Shawn Slawson- I pray to keep the spark alive.

Jessi Panyk – I pray for safety and provision for all my homeless friends. I pray for safe travel and the ability to sleep on the plane.

Marilee Devries – I pray that others find and see the difference between being homeless and houseless.

Michael Craine – I pray that today is a beautiful day!

Matt Swanson – I pray that everyone stays passionate after leaving Wahiawa.

Toni Davis – I pray for the opportunity for one on one conversation would present itself today. I pray for the culminating events of the past 10 days and that we may find peace and satisfaction and joy in our individual acts of love for God.

Bill Lange – I pray for safe travels.

Jen Starin – I pray that all the homeless people are safe, nourished and healthy.

Sarah Duesterbeck – I pray that our last day in Wahiawa is reflective, relaxing.

Wes Slawson –I pray for trouble free travel.

Katie Lawler – I pray the newly arrived interns as they begin their adventure at STN. Tom and Cyndi – that they continue to be blessed for the amazing work done in Wahiawa and around the world.

Michael Ruenz – I pray to continue to move our church toward supporting Wahiawa missions and believing in helping outside communities. I pray for safe travels.

Jenn Bradley – I pray for the new interns that have arrived at STN. I pray that the work here has just begun and for a safe trip home.

Shawn Slawson – Praise God that so much as happened here.

Jessi Panyk – Praise God that I was able to reunite with a homeless man that inspired me on the 2012 mission trip. Praise God that He spoke truth and encouragement into my life through a total stranger – now a friend.

Marilee Devries – Praise God that I have been given the confidence to stand firm in the fact that God is guiding me.

Michael Craine – Praise God that he led me on this mission.

Matt Swanson – Praise God that everyone who came on this trip grew.

Toni Davis – Praise God I have such tremendous support! Praise God that no matter how old you are, God wants you to be a radical servant and he’ll challenge you to enhance you when you are open.

Bill Lange – Praise God for the entire experience.

Jen Starin – Praise God that he brought me here!

Sarah Duesterbeck – Praise God that he was present during our outdoor BBQ. Praise for a wonderful mission team! 

Wes Slawson – Praise God that we had such a powerful prayer support for a very unified mission team.

Katie Lawler – Praise God for the bond between our mission team and that Cyndi made it safely to Hawaii and her and Dale can spend quality time together. Praise God for the bonding and fellowship with the homeless during out BBQ yesterday.

Mike Ruenz – Praise God that my first experience was so positive. Wahiawa is super safe and fun now!  Praise God for STN and Tom and Cindy Bauer for their vision.

Shawn Slawson- I pray to be confident and go up to people and talk to them.

Jessi Panyk – I pray that I can bring my fearlessness back to Delavan to take the town for God.

Marilee Devries – I pray that Cyndi receives traveling grace and arrives safely.

Michael Craine – I pray that God creates a happy heart in me today to fast with joy.

Matt Swanson – I pray that important questions are answered and doubts erased.  

Toni Davis – I pray to ask the Lord to restore peace to the soul of a friend who is weary and broken.

Bill Lange – I pray for good health.

Jen Starin – I pray for me not to dwell on the approval of others.

Sarah Duesterbeck – I pray that my Love Language teaching is effective to the new interns.  I also pray for those families who are being challenged by cancer.

• I pray that I can be lovingly firm and direct while distributing food to the hungry.

• I pray for healing of my foot and that I continue to open up and love people.

• I pray that I can connect with a person who may doubt the love of Christ and share that with them.

• I pray that I would be even less inhibited to show love, care and concern toward another.

Personal Pre-Mission Prayer Requests from the Mission Team

Shawn Slawson –

• I need prayer for finances when I'm gone. Car payments coming and not working for 10 days makes we worried.
• I need to release my work-related stress before I go as they will have me working until late on the 7th.
• I need my heart to be softened and opened in preparation to give it freely.

Jessi Panyk –

• Health of my family, including myself
• I have a toothache and can't get in to see my dentist until after our trip.
• I am feeling generally down-in-the-dumps lately, which I'm sure is a spiritual thing and I'm trying not to give in to it.

Marilee Devries –

• I pray that my dad continues to heal & get stronger….
• Anxiety about leaving him to take care of Puppy Nahla as he is not well.

Michael Craine –

• Peace for my kids during my time away and the same for me.

• To be filled with God’s grace and content with everything that happens in my life.
